About Darlene

about darlene

Darlene Autery is a dear friend who was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma in August 2017. The cancer has been extremely aggressive and the last 9 months have been very hard, but throughout her battle Darlene's spirit and will to live have remained strong. But cancer is like riding a roller coaster with a blindfold on; it’s a disease with many twists and turns. After a brief remission, Darlene’s lymphoma has returned and is aggressively attacking her central nervous system. Doctors have informed her that the situation is terminal with only a short time remaining.

One of Darlene’s favorite things to do in life is bring friends together around live music. A veteran of many concerts and festivals, Darlene, like her license plate and the State that she loves, rocks!  And as a result, over the years, she has acquired quite a number of musician friends who also rock.

To celebrate and honor the beautiful person that is Darlene Autery, on June 24th, we have decided to send her off in style with a music festival and BBQ to die for. She hopes you’ll join us. She’ll be there if she can.

All WEATHER EVENT!

The weather looks like it can go either way this weekend. To make sure that the VT Rocks Festival remains one of the most awesome events of the summer, we have moved the festival a few hundred feet down next to the Backcountry Ballroom and Sports Center. The event has been hardened against the elements and is now an indoor/outdoor festival. We're setting up tents outside and will be using the Backcountry Ballroom and Sports Center for inside components of the event. So come on up and don't let a little rain keep you away. Because come rain or shine, we've got you covered.

$30 OFF LODGING

It's gonna be a great day of partying, so why not stay the night? Bolton Valley Resort is offering all ticket holders a discount on lodging. Rates start at &99! Just mention Vermont Rocks when booking. Call 877-926-5866 or visit Bolton Valley's website
